Exciting newcomers W. H. Lung were one of our highlights at End of the Road Festival this year. With only their brilliant double A-side ‘Inspiration!’ / ‘Nothing Is’, released to date, we're ecstatic to hear some more new music from the Manchester-based Krautrockers. 'WANT' is another impressive effort, which channels nuances of Can, Neu! and Stereolab, but it's their impeccable ear for melody that separates W. H. Lung from the herd. Springy reverbed guitars twinkle subtly behind the infectiously upbeat verses which erupts into a triumphant chorus, driven by a powerful motorik drum beat that Jackie Leipzig would have been proud of. -HLMX
